All you need to know

The World Cup happens every four years and sees teams from across the world compete until there's one overall winner. The competition usually takes place in the summer but due to this year's location, Qatar, it's been moved to the winter.

The tournament will take place between the 20th of November and the 18th of December 2022. The format will see one round of games featuring 32 teams, separated into 8 groups of four teams, with the top two teams qualifying for the knockout rounds.
