Newspaper Sixth Sense has been keeping the forces and their families in British Forces Germany (BFG) informed and entertained for many years.
The newspaper was originally run by the Canadian forces based in Germany and called ‘The Beaver.’
However, when the British 6th Armoured Brigade arrived in BFG, they took over the publication and changed the name to Sixth Sense.
That was 47 years ago and since then thousands of copies have been produced covering everything from crime and sport to the heart-warming and the bizarre.
Chris Keen caught up with Sub Editor Yvonne Neely and Sports Editor Ben Crowley to find out more about the paper and their roles.
