It was the biggest battle honour for the Regiment that went on to become the Royal Anglians. So more than 200 hundred years later they had every intention to celebrate Talavera Day in style.

The 2nd Battalion are currently based at Dhekelia Garrison in Cyprus, as the Theatre Reserve Battalion. But for this special occasion there was a break in proceedings.
