An award has been presented to the United Nations in Cyprus for its work to preserve the heritage of the buffer zone in Nicosia.

The Capital has been divided for 37 years - split between Greek and Turkish forces, but over the last few months both sides have been working together, with the help of the 3rd Battalion, the Royal Anglian Regiment, to clear up and protect the land abandoned in between.
