2 Royal Anglian continue intense training while on standby to deploy

In Cyprus, members of the 2nd Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment have been on exercise completing their Operational Readiness Assessment.

As the Theatre Reserve Battalion they have been on standby to deploy since October, but so far they've not been sent on tour.

As a result it has affected morale and it's meant a lot of training.

The decision on whether to deploy the Theatre Reserve Battalion is made by the government.
